Spain Ovis & Capra World Slam V.I.P. Hunt • Value $32,000
Enjoy the treatment of Spanish royalty;
suitable for hunter and companion
Originally sold at our 2007 Hunter & Outfitter Convention, this fantastic opportunity has again become available.
This hunt is for 2010, although with advance notice the outfitter may have the flexibility to schedule the hunt for 2011.
Fernando Saiz of Spain has put together a fantastic V.I.P. hunt for our auction. Spain is the only country in the world where two species of sheep qualifying for the Ovis World Slam and six species of goats qualifying for the Capra World Slam can be taken… all free range.
For this World Slam hunt, Fernando is including six days for one hunter, with V.I.P. treatment from start to finish. He is including trophy fees for one mouflon sheep, one Southeastern or Ronda ibex and one chamois. In the past three years, Fernando’s clients have been able to hunt three of the top five Beceite ibex in the SCI record book, including the #1 and #2.

This trip was originally scheduled for 2007 and therefore must be taken in 2010. If advanced arrangements are made with the outfitter their may be a possibility of taking the hunt in 2011. This terrific opportunity combines a great hunt with shopping, cultural visits and lots of extras. Fernando’s world-renowned hospitality will be extended at his 16th Century hacienda and the hunter will be treated royally to the Spanish fine cuisine and Rioja wines. Fernando encourages you to bring your wife, who may accompany you to various historical cities. Considering that Fernando’s past guests include former President George H. W. Bush and General Norman Schwarzkopf, among others, along with his many years of hunting experience, you can see that he has a sterling reputation. Included is airport reception, gun clearance, 1 x 1 English-speaking guide service, trophy fees for the three donated animals, and six days of daily rate for the hunter. Furthermore, for this special hunt, Fernando even wanted to include the government-imposed 16% VAT.

The only non-included charges are the hunting licenses and insurance ($270/area), taxidermy prep ($200/trophy), and veterinary check ($200/trophy).
As mentioned, there are eight different animals available in Spain which qualify for the Ovis & Capra World Slams. The high bidder may add extra days at $725 per day for the hunter and $325 per day for a non-hunting companion. The three additional ibex, the additional chamois, and even the additional aoudad sheep may all be added for the published trophy fees. If a mouflon is not needed, the published trophy fee for the mouflon may be applied toward any other animal’s published trophy fee.
In reality, if the high bidder can allow the time, all eight of the Ovis & Capra species of Spain may be taken on this hunt. The high bidder may make the decision to simply go with the three offered trophies or add additional trophies.

which
